Interior of Fez Medina Hub — traditional carved plaster and zellij tilework

A Home Inside Morocco's Oldest Imperial City

Welcome to Fez Medina Hub, a thoughtfully restored 18th-century Moroccan house in the historic Batha district, at the heart of the UNESCO-listed Medina of Fès. Once home to a Fassi family, the house preserves its traditional courtyard, carved plaster, cedar woodwork and zellij craftsmanship while introducing modern pod-style accommodation for today's travellers.

Our vision is simple: offer an authentic Moroccan home where guests sleep comfortably, meet fellow travellers and experience the soul of Fès. Whether you're here for one night or one week, Fez Medina Hub is more than a place to sleep. It's your home inside Morocco's oldest imperial city.

What Our Guests Say

Hear from travellers who have experienced authentic Moroccan hospitality, comfortable pod beds and unforgettable moments in our courtyard.

"Staying at Fez Medina Hub was the highlight of my Morocco trip. The Sage Dorm felt so peaceful — like sleeping in a boutique hotel but with the social energy of a real hostel. The courtyard breakfast was magical."

Emma T.
London, United Kingdom

"The riad itself is breathtaking — you forget you're in a hostel. The team organised our Chefchaouen day trip perfectly. We spent evenings in the courtyard sipping mint tea, talking to people from all over the world."

Julien M.
Lyon, France

"Location is unbeatable — I could walk to the tanneries, Bou Inania, and the souks within minutes. The Blue Dorm is thoughtfully designed; as a solo woman traveller, I felt completely safe and at home."

Sarah K.
New York, USA

"I stayed in the Camel Dorm for four nights and it was perfect — quiet, warm, and beautifully finished. The Volubilis day trip was spectacular. The hosts are genuinely passionate about sharing Fès with you."

Lukas S.
Berlin, Germany

"This is not a typical hostel. It's a living piece of Moroccan history. Every tile, every ceiling, every archway tells a story. I came for two nights and stayed for a week. Fez Medina Hub ruined me for ordinary accommodation."

Mei L.
Singapore

"Took the private double room with my partner — waking up to the sounds of the fountain was surreal. The staff recommended a hidden cooking class that became our most memorable day in Morocco. Absolutely book directly!"

Amelia R.
